Claudia Guerrero is a fully qualified and certified yoga instructor trained in the Iyengar Method by Fundacion Herta Rogg in Mexico City, (4 years) and by Dona Holleman in Italy (4 years).
In addition, Claudia is a disciple of Orits Sen Gupta and is trained in the Vijnana method of yoga.

During her nine uninterrupted years of practice and constant preparation, Claudia has continued her education and attended comprehensive workshops in the areas of Indian philosophy, anatomy, breathing techniques and pranayama. She is continuously refining her own understanding of yoga.
Claudia is also a professional actress. She studied in the actors studio directed by Luis de Tavira in Mexico City. Her seven years of intense theatrical training provided her with various artistic and corporal techniques which have enriched her understanding of movement and self-expression. These techniques allow her to help her students explore their inner world and discover new channels for personal and professional creativity. She toured New York and UK as a yoga teacher for the Slavas Snowshow, the Russian clown company
She has experience teaching children, pregnant women, beginner and advanced yoga students. Her passion and accessibility made her a recognized and beloved teacher at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Mexico City where she taught for six and a half years. Claudia now lives in Merida where she works as a teacher and director of Semilla Yoga. She is currently preparing for her third international certification.

Pilar Casillasis a certified by BKS Iyengar through La Fundación Herta Rogg A.C. (more than 800 hours) and Dona Holleman in Italy.
Pilar has also been influenced by recognized instructors such as Donna Farhi and John Friend as well as other teachers with whom she studied while living in the U.S. Her first contact with yoga was in 1969. In 1991, she began her studies of the Iyengar system with Herta Rogg. In 1996, as a teacher at the Iyengar Yoga Center, she was able to share the experience she had acquired over the years with her students. Her practice of meditation has helped her to better understand the harmony of body and mind and has deepened her commitment to hatha yoga. |

Irazú Gomez began her studies of dance at the age of 8. Her first contact with yoga was through La Gran Fraternidad Universal and in 2005 she completed the course “Yoga Radiante”, or yoga for children, with Shakta Kaur Khalsa. In 2007, she broadened her knowledge of meditation techniques with a course in Vipasana Meditation, the same year she began the Teacher Training Course at Semilla Yoga with Claudia Guerrero. She has an active personal practice and continues her preparation as a teacher attending courses and workshops with Pilar Guerrero, Dona Holleman in Italy, Alicia Ramos and Jñana Dakini. |

Eyleen Rogers Bruce
Born in Chile, Eyleen found her deep love for yoga at the age of 18 when she began her practice of Kundalini and Hatha Yoga. In 1999, she completed her first certification in Poorna Yoga in a program endorsed by the Asociación Chilena y Latinoamericana de Yoga, a study which focused on therapy and work with internal organs, injuries and illnesses. In addition to attending many workshops and courses, she has traveled to India a number of times where she was blessed with the opportunity to learn sutras, mantras, meditacion and rituals such as Homas, Agnihotras and Deekshas with Sri Bhagavan. She has also been certified in India by the teacher Sunil Kumar who is recognized by Yoga India Society for his fusion of Hatha, Asthanga, Jñana and Kundalini Yoga. Her studies include courses at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Center, an advanced course with Dhama Mitra, Jivanmukty with Yogesvary and a certification in Parinaama Yoga with Ann Moxey.
Shaping each class to fit the needs of the students present, Eyleen teaches a fusion of all that she’s learned. She integrates elements of the ancestral path of diverse cultures into her classes and has given workshops in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Spain. In the interest of helping others, she continues her work in therapeutic yoga. Her work spans 16 years but, even before then, she knew intuitively that yoga was an intrinsic part of her life. |

Susan Chanda
After practicing for years with only an illustrated Iyengar book, Susan had the good fortune of finding a teacher in 2005 when she met Donald Niedermayer and joined a class taught by him and Paola Giovine. Since 2007, she has been a disciplined student of asanas, philosophy and pranayama under the guidance of Claudia and Pilar Guerrero at Semilla Yoga as well as participating in Dona Holleman’s intensive teacher training course at Centered Yoga in Soiano del Lago, Italy, June, 2008. She has taught small groups and private classes for two years and, as part of her ongoing education as an instructor, has attended workshops with Jñana Dakini, Alicia Ramos, Shasi Dhar Dimri, Marcela Sanchez and Malena Blasini.

Ana Luisa Fragoso
Ana Luisa has been a dancer and has taught Contemporary Dance at the Centro Estatal de Bellas Artes as well as aerobics. Doing her basic preparation as a yoga teacher in Mexico City, she has traveled to various parts of the country to attend workshops and maintains an active interest in broadening her knowledge of yoga. She is a therapist in Transpersonal Psychology, a strict vegetarian and is interested in helping others achieve a healthy life by responsibly guiding them to discover what their bodies can teach them.
